Who we are

Tixely is TIXELY, obrt za grafički dizajn i usluge, owned by Tomislav Novački, Vrapčanska draga 23, Zagreb, Croatia (OIB: 96130805160, MB: 99368960). "We" and "us" on this page means Tixely; "you" means the person or business we work with. You can reach us at hello@tixely.com.

How these terms fit in

These terms cover our one-off packages (Essentials and Studio), the Studio Subscription and pay-as-you-go work. Before a package starts, we also sign a short contract for your project. If the contract and this page ever say different things, the contract wins.

Getting started

• Filling in the Start a project form and getting our video reply is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
• If we're not the right fit for your project, we'll tell you honestly and won't take it on.
• Work starts once the contract is signed and the first payment has arrived.

Prices and payment

• Our prices are set in euros. Prices shown in US dollars or pounds are a guide, converted at recent exchange rates, and invoices are issued in euros.
• Packages: you pay 50% when the contract is signed and the remaining 50% before the final files are delivered, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Subscription: the monthly plan is paid at the start of each month. Prepaid plans (3, 6 or 12 months) are paid in full upfront.
• Pay as you go: each request counts as at least 1 hour. Anything bigger than a couple of hours gets an estimate before work starts.
• Third-party costs, such as fonts, stock images, hosting, domains or printing, aren't included and are paid by you. If a project needs one, you'll know the cost before anything is bought.

What's included, and changes

• Each package includes what's listed on our pricing, and the details are confirmed in your contract.
• Rounds of refinement cover colors, spacing and small adjustments to the direction you chose. A different concept direction is new work, which we'll quote before starting.
• If you'd like something beyond your package, we'll agree the scope and price with you first. Nothing extra is billed without your OK.

Timing and your part

We'll give you a rough timeline before we start and keep you posted as we go. Timelines depend on getting your feedback and materials on time. If a project goes quiet on your side for more than 30 days, we may pause it and fit it back into the schedule when you return.

Studio Subscription: pausing, cancelling and the guarantee

• Your hours are reserved for you each month. Unused hours don't roll over.
• The monthly plan can be cancelled any time before the next renewal date, and you won't be charged again. The month you've paid for stays valid in full.
• Prepaid plans can pause upcoming months with at least 7 days' notice, which extends your plan. After the first week, months you've paid for aren't refunded, since that time is reserved for you.
• First-week guarantee: if the subscription isn't right for you within your first 7 days, cancel and get 75% of your first month back. On a prepaid plan, months you haven't started are refunded in full too. This guarantee is for subscriptions only.

Stopping a package

You can stop a package at any point. The first payment covers the work already started and isn't refunded. If you stop after the final payment is due, you pay for the work done up to that point. You can use the files you've paid for in full.

Your files and who owns them

• Once you've paid in full, the final files we deliver are yours to use however you like, and we transfer the rights you need to use them for your business.
• Concepts and directions you didn't choose stay with us.
• Fonts, stock images and other third-party assets come with their own licenses. We'll tell you when one applies.
• We may show finished work in our portfolio and on social media. If you'd rather we didn't, just say so and we'll keep it private.

What you send us

When you send us text, photos, logos or other materials, you confirm you're allowed to use them, and you let us use them for your project. We keep anything you tell us about your business confidential.

Names and trademarks

We design logos to be original, but we don't carry out legal trademark searches or registrations. Before you invest heavily in a name or logo, we recommend checking it with a trademark professional or registry.

Liability

We take care with every project, but we can't be responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, that come from using our work. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited, including your rights as a consumer.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Croatian law. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first; we'll do our best to put it right. If we can't agree, disputes go to the competent court in Zagreb, unless consumer law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Changes don't affect a project or a paid subscription period that has already started.
