Who we are

This website is run by TIXELY, obrt za grafički dizajn i usluge, owned by Tomislav Novački, Vrapčanska draga 23, Zagreb, Croatia (MB: 99368960). We are the data controller for the details described here. You can reach us at hello@tixely.com about anything on this page.

What we collect

When you fill in the Start a project form, we receive:

• your name and email address;
• your answers about your business and project, including anything you write in the free text fields;
• a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address (a hash). We use it only to limit how many times the form can be sent from one connection per hour, and we never store the IP address itself.

If you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to put in that email.

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps two small things on your own device: your chosen currency for our prices, and your form answers while you fill in the questionnaire (these are cleared when you close the tab or send the form). Neither is sent to us until you press Send it.

Why we use it

• To reply about your project. We use your answers and contact details to send you our reply, a short follow-up questionnaire if we're a good fit, and to talk about working together. This is a step you ask us to take before any contract, which is our legal basis for it.
• To keep the form free of spam. The hashed IP address and the Cloudflare Turnstile check protect the form from bots. This is in our legitimate interest in running a working contact form.

We never sell your details, and we don't add you to any mailing list.

Who helps us

A few services process data on our behalf so this site and the form work:

• Hostinger hosts this website and the database where form submissions are stored.
• Resend sends the form emails: the notification to us and the confirmation to you.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is being filled in by a person. It loads on the last step of the form and processes technical details such as your IP address and browser information.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site uses. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address.

Some of these companies are based in, or may process data in, the United States. Where that happens, they rely on the safeguards required by EU law, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are deleted automatically from our database 12 months after they are sent. Emails we exchange with you are kept for as long as we need them for our conversation. If you become a client, we keep what the law requires for business and accounting records.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or give you a copy to take elsewhere, and you can object to how we use it. Just email hello@tixely.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to the Croatian data protection authority, Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (azop.hr). We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first, though.

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
